New Technologies Include:

Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) is a biogas, often derived from agricultural and other waste biomass, that can be used in place of traditional natural gas. It provides greater environmental benefits, including emissions reductions. RNG production harnesses what would be emitted into the atmosphere and turns it into a reliable, renewable energy source.

Hydrogen integration in the natural gas delivery system can expand gas system options and increase our ability to reduce emissions.

Carbon Capture and Storage technologies can further decrease emissions by capturing and storing CO2 and methane emissions associated with industrial use, power generation, and other forms of natural gas consumption.
